The Commemoration Stone is situated in the boundary wall at Áras Uillinn, Church Road, Maigh Cuillinn. Here, an annual ceremony honours all the men and women from the Moycullen area who served or died in past wars or on service with the United Nations. It was donated by Welby’s Quarry, Moycullen, and inscribed by O’Toole’s of Spiddal. The stone was officially unveiled by Ned Cusack (RIP), retired Colonel of the Irish Army, on 29 November 2014.
